Just as many ethically and liberty challenged Americans are allowing Barack Obama to create a massive sword of Damocles over the heads of future generations (through his giant stimulus and spending programs), a prior generation allowed the same thing to happen during FDR’s administration.
One of the many bad checks written by FDR is about to come due in 2013 when the baby boom generation begins collecting their social security benefits. Social Security is a giant ponzi scheme that never should have been enacted in the first place.
Watch this video by Economist Walter Williams to learn the severity of the problem it has created. According to Williams, the unfunded liability of Social Security and Medicare now amounts to $101 trillion. Combine that with the multi-trillion dollar liabilities Obama is creating and you have the perfect prescription for a life of serfdom for our children… and quite possibly the total bankruptcy of the nation. Oh, but I know, liberals mean well and they are “doing it for the children,” right?
