What happened in Charlottesville on Aug. 13th — and especially the way it is being spun by the media and the Democrats — was a very bad omen for where things are headed in this country.

What would have been an ugly but pathetic rally by a group of despicable neo-Nazis and racists, turned into a disaster because they were met by a much larger group of violent Leftists.  This included the domestic terrorist groups Antifa and Black Lives matter, as well as a lot of  “social justice warriors.”

Here are a few of the “counter protestors”:

So essentially, what you had were Nazis and Communists having it out… with some good people caught in the crossfire.

Properly understood, these were two violent Left-wing (collectivist) groups going at each other and both should be condemned. The stupidity of the media and many Democrats (as well as Republicans like the clueless Mitt Romney), in trying to depict this as simply “racists” vs. “those who oppose racism,” is breathtaking.

Much has been made of Trump’s remarks that there were “very fine people” on both sides mixed in with the the larger groups. That may or may not be true; however, the key point is Trump was NOT even implying that the neo-Nazis were fine people — in fact he made it clear many times he was not talking about them — yet the mainstream media has dishonestly twisted his words to claim he was calling white supremacists “fine people.” It is possible Trump was mistaken on that point but never did he even imply that any of the white supremacists were fine people.

Although the blame for Heather Heyer’s death lies squarely with the scumbag who drove his car into the crowd of people, President Trump was absolutely right to point out in his recent press conference that “both sides” were to blame for the overall violence and mayhem on that day. Anyone who has not been living under a rock knows that this leftist violence has been going on for over years all around the country and has accelerated since the 2016 election. Trump supporters were repeatedly attached during the campaign and here’s a reminder of what went on after the inauguration:

Leftists accuse anyone who disagrees with them (i.e, is not a Marxist) of being a “nazi”  in order to justify initiating violence against them. They do not limit this to actual KKK members or wannabe Nazis, of which there are extremely few these days. (In the 1920’s the KKK once filled up Madison Square Garden, today they would be lucky to get 500 people to a high school gym.)

As I predicted back in February, branding ALL Trump supporters as racists or white supremacists has now become the playbook of the Democrats and their puppets in the mainstream media. They went off for a while on the “Russian Conspiracy” tangent, but now they see Charlottesville as their “Reichstag fire” moment, so it’s back to “white supremacists.”

To much of the left, this now includes even your run-of-the-mill Trump supporter as this poor woman found out at the Boston free speech rally last weekend:

So you can’t hold an American flag on Boston Common now!? Samuel Adams is rolling over in his grave.

The question is this: are the media and Democrats really so stupid they would embrace Antifa and all of this Leftist violence, or is something more sinister going on here?  There are a couple of very fishy things about this entire debacle: (1) The so-called “Unite The Right” rally was organized by someone  named Jason Kessler, who supported Hillary Clinton and was previously on the payroll of CNN; (2) the cops were completely derelict in their duties that day. They basically herded the two groups into each other so they would clash…. and then they stood down.

Anyone interested in really understanding the larger picture of what is really going on here, should check out this interview with Dinesh D’Souza. and also get his new book, “The Big Lie.”

Finally for a great post on how to think about this all from a philosophical perspective, I highly recommend the following post over at the Rational Capitalist:
